Samuel I. Kane P.A.

Samuel KaneSamuel Kane graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, and was a member of Mathematics Association of America. He participated in numerous seminars both as a speaker and as a guest on abstract mathematical theories. He attended law school earning his Juris Doctorate with Honors from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Kane graduated Magnum Cum Laude with an Order of the Coif distinction. He also was a Justice on the University of Miami Law School’s Supreme Court.

After law school, Samuel served as a Federal law clerk for District Judge Robert C. Brack in Las Cruces New Mexico Federal Court. This experience gave him a different perspective of the practice of law, particularly, from the inside of a Judge’s chambers.

Samuel works to continually expand his knowledge of the law, by attending courses and legal seminars. He currently holds a license to practice law in both New Mexico and Florida. Samuel opened his law practice in 2004, practicing in a broad spectrum of the law with an emphasis on serious catastrophic and personal injury. Samuel has extensive experience as a trial lawyer and has participated in over 1000 bench and jury trials. Samuel Kane maintained, for several years, the public defender contract for the City of Las Cruces where he had at least one trial a month.

Samuel has broad experience handling complex contested probate matters involving multi million-dollar probate disputes. He prepares Wills and Trusts and other Testamentary documents. Mr. Kane’s wide-ranging legal expertise separates himself from others when it comes to personal injury, particularly those involving wrongful death claims. Samuel is able to address multiple related legal issues due to his comprehensive training, such as addressing the resulting property loss and potential probate matters sometimes attendant in catastrophic injury cases. Also, he recognizes the hardships and difficulty pressed on individuals struggling to recover from accidents and injuries and will make home visits and is available for clients 24 hours a day.

You may also see Samuel at the Third Judicial District Court’s Pro Se Center as he provides pro bono legal advice. For these and other legal contributions, Mr. Samuel Kane has voted Las Cruces Sun-News Reader’s Choice Attorney for 2013.

The bull is Samuel’s business mascot because he was inspired by the artist Arturo di Modica, who is known for creating the sculptures found in many financial districts throughout the world. While most people believe that the Wall Street Bull represents the strength of a growing economy, the artist himself has described his work as representing the personal strength of the American people and their ability to swiftly recover from adversity and obstacles. Mr. Modica’s Wall Street Bull was actually created following a stock market crash in order to provide ordinary people with inspiration and hope. People commonly seek a personal injury attorney when they are faced with one of life’s minor obstacles or major catastrophes. During these times it is important to remember that everyone has the strength to not only recover but to become stronger.
